Metatarsal Guard (Mt)
A metatarsal guard protects the top of the foot behind the toe cap. The standard defines an optional metatarsal test, and Mt on the label means the pair is marked for it. It matters where heavy loads can land across the instep, and it is only on pairs built with the guard.
