ASTM F2413

ASTM F2413 is the standard that defines performance requirements for protective toe footwear, including the impact and compression tests for the toe area and optional marks such as metatarsal, puncture, conductive and electrical hazard. The two digits after the dash on the label are the edition year, and listings mix editions, so read the year on your own pair. The standard text is sold by ASTM; this site paraphrases published summaries.
