Work Boots for Concrete and Framing Crews
Concrete and framing can involve impact, puncture and wet-cement exposure. Have the employer assess the actual work and select the required protective footwear and other PPE. A waterproof work-boot description alone does not establish chemical protection.
What decides it on this job
- A safety toe marked for impact and compression, and PR if nails and scrap are underfoot
- Protective boots selected for the exact cement exposure, with adequate height to keep the material out
- Cushion and fit for full shifts on hard ground
Mind · Wet cement can cause chemical burns. Follow the employer’s exposure controls and manufacturer’s care instructions; replace protective boots if ineffective or contaminated inside. Do not assume rinsing ordinary leather boots makes them suitable.
- Work Boots by TradeConcrete, electrical, warehouse, landscaping and roofing: the boot that fits the job, not the catalog.
- Work Boots by Toe TypeSteel, composite, carbon and soft toe: what each one trades off, and which codes to check on the tag.
- Waterproof & Insulated Work BootsMembranes, seams, insulation grams and cold-weather fit, read from the maker’s own spec page.
