Do work boots need to be broken in, and how?
Leather boots usually soften with wear, and some need very little. Wear a new pair around the house with work socks for short stretches first, and lengthen from there. A safety-toe cap does not stretch, so a pair that pinches at the toe is the wrong size or last, not a break-in problem.
